PF Chang’s opens lonely location in North Bay in downtown Santa Rosa

Popular global restaurant chain PF Chang’s is coming to Santa Rosa and plans to open a 4,000-square-foot space at the mall’s main entrance along B Street.

PF Chang spokesperson Katie Erwin said no firm date has been set, but the company expects an opening in late 2024.

It will be the first PF Chang’s in Sonoma County, but not the first location in the North Bay area.

A PF Chang’s in Corte Madera town center in Marin County closed in 2018.

The next closest locations are over an hour south of the Bay Area.

“The restaurant will transform the look and feel of the mall’s B Street entrance,” Santa Rosa Plaza spokesperson Danielle Nelson said in a statement.

“We are excited to bring a first-time dining experience to the mall for our customers and the community.”

PF Chang’s is an Asian chain restaurant founded in 1993 and operates more than 300 locations internationally.

It is known for its take on classic Chinese dishes.

It also recently launched a paid membership tier for its loyalty program, where members can opt for VIP-level service, extra points for dinner orders, and unlimited free delivery.

“PF Chang’s offers a unique combination of Chinese cuisine, attentive service, wine and tantalizing desserts, all served in a stylish, energetic bistro,” said Nelson.

“The location is perfectly positioned with easy access for shoppers and visitors.”
