Elon Musk weighed in on Sunday about his views on the World Economic Forum’s plans to include criteria for “environmental, social and governance,” or ESG, in its investment strategy, saying the “S” should stand for something else.
βThe S in ESG stands for Satanic,β the CEO of Twitter tweeted.
The tweet was in response to Michael Schellenberger, author and former California gubernatorial candidate, who posted a series of tweets about the launch of the WEF Summit in Davos and rumors that the group is seeking global domination.

Schellenberger tweeted that the WEF and its founder, Klaus Schwab, are fighting back against those who say they seek global domination through a “great reset” that could take away private property from the masses, deindustrialize the economy and make everyone eat insects.
He highlighted a statement made by a WEF spokesperson in August, who said, “‘Own nothing, be happy’ β you may have heard the phrase… It started as a screenshot, snatched from the internet by an anonymous anti-Semitic account at the image. board 4chan. ‘Own nothing, be happy β The Jew World Order 2030’…”

However, Schellenberger said the spokesperson’s statement was incorrect and that the phrase “Own nothing, be happy” came from the WEF website, not 4chan.

He also explained in the tweets that WEF can hardly be considered a conspiracy, citing Davos as “one of the most publicized events in the world”, and that it attracts celebrities, world leaders and billionaires.
Schellenberger said WEF has proved highly secretive, and when the public asked WEF how the Klaus Schwab Foundation invests its assets, a spokesperson said, “Swiss law does not require financial reporting for foundations.”
WEF says its assets are managed by an internal investment committee that strives to incorporate environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria into its investment strategy to manage the foundation’s long-term strategic reserves,” Schellenberger tweeted.
Then Musk tweeted the “‘S’ in ESG stands for Satanic.”
