Beyoncé’s performance in Dubai caught on camera despite strict guidelines

Not even in the digital age Beyoncé can beat cellphones – her performance in Dubai was caught on camera by several people…despite them doing everything they could to keep it a secret.

The singer is in the UAE, where she’s booked for a show at (or near) this posh hotel called Atlantis The Royal… $24 million for just a set of ONE HOUR — that’s the word on the street anyway.

Numerous videos circulated Saturday leading up to her performance, where people who secured seats on the show reported that the hotel and other honchos required people to put their devices in sealed zip bags — similar to how many comics do these days.

There was also a live feedstream that the hotel had that captured many of her soundchecks during rehearsal…which was promptly cut off at the curtain. And yet, despite their best efforts, the people on the ground were still able to film it all. 🤷🏽‍♂️

You can jump into the Beyoncé tendency now on Twitter and check out all the footage for yourself — it sounds like she opened with a cover of Etta James’s ‘At Last’, then sang some of her own songs… like ‘XO’, ‘Brown Skin Girl’ and other ‘Renaissance’ songs.

It sounds like everything is going smoothly as the crowd cheers her on in droves… which is a good sign of things to come. Reports say this is a harbinger of her upcoming global ‘Renaissance’ tour — and so far it seems the product has been well received.

By the way, this outing is a family affair… Jay-Z used to be spotted near the Atlantis — cozy in his own house private box with a bird’s-eye view of the stage — and Blue ivyis there too. She even got on stage with Mom at one point, continuing the tradition of sharing the spotlight.

Beyoncé fans are sure excited… they’ve been waiting for her to hit the road. ‘Renaissance’ came out about 6 months ago and their desire to see their Queen Bey on the mic swell like crazy. Now, for the first time, they get a taste of what is sure to come.
